US pizza delivery corporation Domino's Pizza will unveil in October its flagship Bulgarian restaurant, to be located in Sofia’s Borovo neighbourhood, Nikola Nikolov, the firm’s representative for the local market, told Dnevnik.
He added that more units will spring up in other major Bulgarian cities but declined to provide any further details.
Domino’s Pizza, owned by Boston-based private equity firm Bain Capital, is specialised in home and office deliveries, with pizza, sandwiches and past on the menu, where sweet pizza is one of the highlights.
The menu offers also chicken side dishes, breadsticks and salads, as well as beverages and desserts.
In Bulgaria, the chain will operate through franchise agreements as for parts of the US and all oversees markets.
Nikolov has obtained the rights for the Domino’s Pizza brand from Anatron Food Services, the chain’s representative in Greece and Cyprus, after six months of negotiations.
