Large number of spectators at Romania's EXPO 2010 Pavilion

Romania's Pavilion is the sole one of the EXPO 2010 which hosts live performances every day, the number of spectators exceeding 3.5 million.
An impressing number of some 30,000 spectators have watched this weekend the shows offered by folklore ensemble "Dorna Dorului" and by Szeckler ensemble "Harghita" at Romania's EXPO 2010 Pavilion.
Sunny weather and organizers' recommendation addressed to the public to take advantage of the period preceding Chinese holidays, in order to avoid agglomeration, have contributed to an increasing number of visitors to EXPO 2010, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs in a press release remitted AGERPRES.
The music and dance ensembles presented the most representative and valuable songs and dances characteristic to the historical Romanian provinces of Bucovina, Moldova, Maramures, Oltenia, Banat, as well as traditional Szeckler and Hungarian ones.
"Dorna Dorului" folklore ensemble and "Harghita" Szeckler ensemble represent the last series of artists performing on the Romanian Pavilion stage in the period September 16 to October 31. Since the opening of EXPO 2010, on the Greenopolis stage the following artistic formations performed so far: "Holograf", "Amadeus", "Zece prajini" fanfare, the folk ensemble "Calusarii Slatinei", "Imperioso" quartet, "Composito" quintet, "Crisana" folk ensemble, "Shavale" fanfare, "Nagyvarad" ensemble of Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra and representatives of the Music School in Timisoara, "Capriccioso" quintet and "Musica Omnia" sextet.

To give the chance to as many people as possible to listen to traditional songs and to learn a few dance steps the number of performances was boosted to some 30-35 per day.
