Ohrid Old Town Meetings begin

More than 150 singers and musicians of 15 bands, ensembles and cultural-artistic clubs from Ohrid, Struga, Kumanovo, Skopje, Strumica, Vinica, Radovis, Stip and other Macedonian towns, as well as Varna (Bulgaria) will take part at this year's 22. Ohrid Old Town Meetings.
More than 150 singers and musicians of 15 bands, ensembles and cultural-artistic clubs from Ohrid, Struga, Kumanovo, Skopje, Strumica, Vinica, Radovis, Stip and other Macedonian towns, as well as Varna (Bulgaria) will take part at this year's 22. Ohrid Old Town Meetings.
The event begins with a parade of ensembles through the town bazaar on Friday, followed by a performance at the town's square. The formal opening will be held in center of culture "Grigor Prlicev".
Several accompanying activities will be held within the event, such as workshops, exhibitions etc.
The festival was established for the purpose of promoting the values of old town music, but also preservation of musical traits that have been passed through generations.
