The World Bank is preparing a new partnership strategy for Bulgaria for 2011 to 2015, which will be reviewed by its board of directors in May, the government press office said on Wednesday.

The move was announced аt a meeting held between prime minister Boiko Borissov and Peter Harrold, the World Bank's director for Central Europe and the Baltic countries.
Harrold underscored the bank's commitment to back infrastructure development in the country and the willingness of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank's private sector arm, to continue to support green investments and those related to climate change, infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture and social sectors.
"The new partnership strategy should support Bulgaria in its efforts to achieve a reasonable and sustainable growth for all with a focus on policy reforms and strengthening institutional capacity in certain sectors," according to the statement.
