FYRMacedonia: January industrial production up by five percent

According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in January, compared to the same month in 2010, has increased by five percent.

According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in January, compared to the same month in 2010, has increased by five percent.

Industrial production in section Mining and quarrying in January increased by 2.4%, in section Manufacturing industry it is up by 8%, and in section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 4.8%.

Industrial production by Main Industrial Groups was higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 16.8%, Capital goods industries by 73.1%, and Durable consumer goods industries by 19.5%, but lower in Energy by 6.1% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.8%.
