Albanian PM Berisha to visit Skopje in late October

Albania's PM Sali Berisha will pay an official visit to Macedonia by the end of October, MIA reports from Tirana.Berisha was supposed to visit Macedonia in May 2010 upon an invitation by PM Gruevski. The trip was cancelled due to his busy schedule and the political crisis in Albania, his cabinet has said.

Albania's PM Sali Berisha will pay an official visit to Macedonia by the end of October, MIA reports from Tirana.

Tirana-based TV station Top Channel has said that main topics of discussion between him and his host, Macedonian Premier Nikola Gruevski, would be acceleration of the process allowing free movement of citizens from both countries, which implies the border to be crossed with IDs only, Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic perspectives, improvement of bilateral and regional economic cooperation as well as implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement.

Berisha was supposed to visit Macedonia in May 2010 upon an invitation by PM Gruevski. The trip was cancelled due to his busy schedule and the political crisis in Albania, his cabinet has said.
