Center for Development of the Eastern Planning Region - Stip has launched project "Cross-Border Business Networking for Sustainable Growth" for improvement of the business climate in the Macedonia-Bulgaria cross-border region.

The project aims at improving the business cooperation through development of business services, marketing of SMEs, and improvement of access to information and consultancy in cross-border regions.

A business center for cross-border initiatives will be established in Stip, whereas activities also include creation of a joint web-platform for marketing and business information (JUMP), series of seminars and trainings of SME managers and business support institutions, issuing of a cross-border business catalogue for SMEs, building of a partnership network for cooperation among institutions offering support to the business sector in the entire cross-border region.

The year-long project is expected to attract more investments in the two partnering regions, which offer enormous possibilities and unused potentials.

The EU-funded project is implemented at the territory of Macedonia's Eastern Planning Region, and Bulgaria's Blagoevgrad region.
