Success of Serbian sports teams celebrated

The victories of Serbian teams were celebrated in Belgrade and other Serbian towns, such as Nis, Zrenjanin, Kragujevac or Kosovska Mitrovica and also in Banja Luka, the capital of the Republic of Srpska.

Sports fans all over Serbia and the region celebrated the great success achieved by Serbian sports teams – the victory of the national handball team against Croatia in the semi-finals and placement in the finals of the European Handball Championship in Belgrade, the placement of the Serbian waterpolo team in the finals of the European Championship after a victory achieved over Italy in the semi-finals in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, and the victory of Serbian tennis player and no. 1 on the ATP list Novak Đoković at the Australian Open in Melbourne, who beat Andy Murray in the semi-finals and qualified for the finals.

The victories of Serbian teams were celebrated in Belgrade and other Serbian towns, such as Nis, Zrenjanin, Kragujevac or Kosovska Mitrovica and also in Banja Luka, the capital of the Republic of Srpska.

All the three finals will be played on Sunday – against Denmark at the European Handball Championship, against Montenegro at the European Waterpolo Championship, whereas Djokovic will be playing in the finals against Spanish player Rafael Nadal.
