All groups of supporters from Croatia, who came Belgrade for the handball match with Serbia, safely crossed the state border escorted by Serbian police and returned to Croatia, Serbian border police chief Nenad Banovic told Tanjug Saturday.

All groups of supporters from Croatia, who came Belgrade for the handball match with Serbia, safely crossed the state border escorted by Serbian police and returned to Croatia, Serbian border police chief Nenad Banovic told Tanjug Saturday.

There was no problem in Belgrade or at the border crossing Batrovci, Banovic said, adding that a small number of supporters from Croatia who had reservations in the hotels remained in the Serbian capital.

He announced that the arrival of a number of supporters from Croatia is again expected on Sunday for the match in which the Croatian national team will fight for the bronze medal. The police will again escort the supporters from the border crossing to Belgrade, and after the game will do their best to accompany them safely across the border, Banovic said.
