It is released by the Regional Bureau of the United Nations Development Programme and includes the best success stories in Europe and CIS.
Under the criterion of creating new jobs and of micro-financing backward regions Bulgaria alone has been presented: with the project Job Opportunities Through Business Support run jointly by the Government and UNDP.
In Bulgaria UNDP works with more than 200 Bulgarian and foreign partners on more than 70 projects in all 28 regions of the country, as well as with more than 170 municipalities.
The UNDP key spheres of work in Bulgaria are four: cutting poverty; democratic governance; energy and environment; and information technology.
