Bulgaria and China signed an agreement for reciprocal dropping of the visa requirement on diplomatic and other service passports.

The agreement signed in Sofia would facilitate the travel of Chinese diplomats and businessmen to Bulgaria. Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolai Mladenov said that the agreement would open new business opportunities and gave as an example the production of Chinese vehicles in Bulgaria.

The ambassador of China to Sofia said in his turn that his country shows interest also in the machine building, agriculture and infrastructure sectors as well.
