The coalition around the Serbian Progressive Party still enjoys the most popular support, as 31.2 percent of voters would cast their ballots in its favor, showed a survey by the Faktor Plus agency presented on March 5.

The Democratic Party-led alliance, whose members the poll presumed would be the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina and the Social Democratic Party of Serbia, came in second, with 29.1 percent of respondents' backing.

Coming in third, with 13.5 percent, was the coalition comprised of the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia and United Serbia.

Some 25 percent of respondents will not turn out to vote, 34 percent were unsure, while two percent said they would cancel their ballots.

The survey uncovered that the Serbian Radical Party could count on support from 6.9 percent of the constituency. the Movement for Turnaround on 6.3 percent, while the Democratic Party of Serbia would collect 5.7 percent of the votes. Faktor Plus director Vladimir Pejic said the United Regions of Serbia had around 3.2 percent backing in Serbia, but this group could be "the darkest horse," as it is composed of many local parties not "visible" in global surveys.

Respondents voiced the greatest satisfaction with the institutions of police and the president of Serbia, who got a rating of 2.9 on a scale of one to five. The Army of Serbia was third with 2.5, while the Serbian Orthodox Church got 2.5. Education, the justice system and the health care system fared the worst, with ratings from 1.8 to 1.5.
