Twenty-six people have been arrested in various regions of the Attica prefecture, over the April 24-25 two-day period, for debts owed to the state whose total exceeds 14 million euros.

Seven cases concern the non-payment of VAT and for this those arrested face criminal charges.

The arrested persons were brought before the relevant prosecutors.
