Prime Minister Sali Berisha held a friendly meeting today with the President of the Republic of Kosova Atifete Jahjaga at the official residence in Durrës city.

PM Berisha expressed his pleasure at meeting President Jahjaga and positively assessed her role and contribution for the consolidation of the Republic of Kosova as a factor of peace and stability in the region.

On her part, President Jahjaga expressed to PM Berisha her condolences for the loss of lives at Himara tragic accident, an event that deeply shocked all the citizens of Kosova.

The interlocutors discussed about promotion of the full cooperation between Albania and Kosova as it’s in the vital interest of the citizens of the two countries. Likewise, PM Berisha and President Jahjaga also discussed on regional developments. They appreciated that Kosova all-round progress has determined it as an important factor of peace, stability and cooperation in the region.
