Prime Minister of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC) Denis Lasic held today at the International Economic Forum in Mostar lecture on "Development Strategy for SMEs in the HNC in the period 2012 - 2020”.

International Economic Forum entitled "The Western Balkans on the doorstep of the European Union and euro," was organized the Faculty of Economics, University of Mostar.

Prime Minister Lasic spoke about the process of adopting the Strategy, which was done as part of the SEENET. This program is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, while the carriers of the activities including the development of the strategy are the Ministry of Economy of HNC and Association for Entrepreneurship and Business - Link from Mostar.

"The consistent implementation of the Strategy guarantees us that the HNC in the period from 2012 to 202o will become the most successful in the entrepreneurship field in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By a strong growth it will be a link to the future of the European region of Dalmatia on the one side and BiH on the other side, and so contribute to the development of BiH, both on its European and Mediterranean road”, said Prime Minister Lasic.

"We will do everything to put into practice what has been outlined in the Strategy, what is within the competence of the Government. Today in our county in the small and medium enterprises 30 000 people are employed, while the Strategy was outlined to be them about 50 000 in 2020, therefore, our goal is clear, " Lasić concluded .
