Kosovo Prime Minister Hasim Taci stated that the problems in the north of Kosovo can in no way be discussed during the future talks between Belgrade and Pristina, and underlined that the problem of this part of Kosovo is an internal issue.
In reaction to the diplomatic calls for Kosovo and Serbia to discuss all open issues in the field, Taci stated at the Sunday press conference in Pristina after his return from New York that the field refers to the Balkan region and its integration into the EU.
Taci stated that he keeps daily contacts with the United States and the office of Baroness Catherine Ashton in order to arrange the details of the talks which will, as he put it, have an inter-state character.
The office of the high representative of the union for foreign affairs and security policy will control the dialogue, which is to improve the lives of citizens.
On the occasion of the announcement of the Belgrade-Pristina talks, Self-Determination leader Aljbin Kurti said that he wants to persuade the citizens of Kosovo to say no to the talks with Serbia.
