The consumer prices in August are on average 1.4% higher than those in July, the Republic Institute for Statistics has announced, reports Tanjug news agency.
The consumer prices in August are on average 1.4% higher than those in July, the Republic Institute for Statistics has announced, reports Tanjug news agency.
Compared to the same month of 2009, these prices have increased by 6.6%, and in comparison to December the same year by 5.9%.
With regard to the main groups of products and services classified according to the purpose of consumption, in August the greatest increase in prices was marked in the following groups: alcoholic beverages and tobacco 3.2%, foodstuffs and non-alcoholic beverages 2.6%, sports and culture 1.7%.
The prices of other products and services have not undergone significant change.
