Conference of Chiefs of the Military Intelligence Agencies

This year’s conference is a continuation of the process launched in 2009, when the chiefs of military intelligence agencies met in Bucharest and which is realized at the initiative of the Regional Cooperation Council and under the auspices of the EU Military HQ Intelligence Directorate

The Second Conference of Military Intelligence Agency Chiefs under the title “Joint security risk assessments as a starting point for coordinated action”, will be held on 30 September in the House of Guards in Topcider in Belgrade, with chiefs and representatives of military intelligence agencies from 12 SEE countries attending the conference.

This year’s conference is a continuation of the process launched in 2009, when the chiefs of military intelligence agencies met in Bucharest and which is realized at the initiative of the Regional Cooperation Council and under the auspices of the EU Military HQ Intelligence Directorate

The chiefs will sign a joint Statement on Cooperation of Military Intelligence Agencies in the region, thus creating preconditions for promoting cooperation in the military intelligence field in the SEE region.

The conference will be opened today by Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac with the Secretary general of the Regional Council Hidajet Boscevic and the representatives of the Intelligence Directorate of the EU military HQ.
