President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik announced Tuesday that he has named Aleksandar Dzombic, 42, prime minister designate of the new RS government.

President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik announced Tuesday that he has named Aleksandar Dzombic, 42, prime minister designate of the new RS government.

Until now Dzombic served as minister of finance and according to the Constitution, he should create his cabinet in the course of 40 days. The composition of the cabinet has to be approved by the parliament.

It is expected that RS will obtain a new government already by mid-December.
