The Serbian government appointed a new director and chairman of the Managing Board of the state air carrier JAT Airways on Dec. 8, instead of Srdjan Radovanovic and Sasa Vlaisavljevic, who resigned.
The Serbian government appointed a new director and chairman of the Managing Board of the state air carrier JAT Airways on Dec. 8, instead of Srdjan Radovanovic and Sasa Vlaisavljevic, who resigned.
According to information BETA obtained in the Serbian government, at a telephone session the government appointed Vladimir Ognjenovic, up till now the deputy general director, as acting general director of JAT, while Dusan Bajic, hitherto member of the Managing Board, was appointed its chairman.
The replacement at the helm of JAT Airways followed several days of media reports on the company's poor business for which, according to the media and the former chairman of the Managing Board, Sasa Vlaisavljevic, Radovanovic was responsible.
