Regional forum for boosting research in ICT sector

The gathering is focused on strengthening cooperation with EU countries and stepping up the integration of research organisations from the Western Balkans in the European Research Area.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic and Minister of Telecommunications and Information Society Jasna Matic will open a regional forum for advancing research in the information and communications technologies (ICT) sector at 9.30 on 30 November, at the Hyatt Regency, Milentija Popovica 5.

Participants in the forum will be representatives from the relevant ministries in the region, top EU commission
representatives, ICT policy makers and renowned experts in the field.

The forum will draft a joint regional policy for the Western Balkans, aimed at enhancing cooperation in the ICT sector.

The gathering is focused on strengthening cooperation with EU countries and stepping up the integration of research organisations from the Western Balkans in the European Research Area.
