On Wednesday, the weather in Serbia will be mostly cloudy and significantly colder, locally with rain, and with sleet and snow on the mountains, with forming of a minor snow cover.

Around 3 p.m. first snow yesterday started in Belgrade, which melts immediately in contact with the wet surface, and the temperature is just three degrees Celsius.

On Wednesday, the weather in Serbia will be mostly cloudy and significantly colder, locally with rain, and with sleet and snow on the mountains, with forming of a minor snow cover.

Brief sleet is possible in some lower areas, the wind will be mild and moderate, and morning temperature will be between two and seven, highest daily five on the north-west to 12 degrees on the southern and south-eastern Serbia.

By the end of the week, it should be mostly cloudy and cold, with local rains, sleet and snow in the mountains, with snow cover forming. Brief sleet possible in lower areas, mostly during morning and evening hours. Beginning of the next week will be cloudy and a little warmer, with local rain.

Unlike snow storms throughout Europe, there is no snow cover in Serbia, except in Kopaonik, where it is three centimetres thick.

First snow this year in Serbia was in Sjenica in late October.
