Serbian Defense Ministry completed their part of the European Commission Questionnaire and thus it will be the first time that the EC receives a detailed analysis of the Serbian defense system.

The Defense Ministry was defined responsible for 7 questions and it delivered contributions for 46 questions regarding engagement in the EU defense policy.

The contributions also pertain to the regional cooperation, defense industry, battle against terrorism, cooperation in emergency situations, position of employees in the defense system, etc.

It is planned that the Serbian Government adopts answers to the entire Questionnaire on January 31, 2011 and submits it to the European Commission that will announce its opinion on Serbia’s readiness to acquire the EU member candidate status.
