Minister of Justice Snezana Malovic and Serbian judicial officials are on a working visit to the United States from 7 to 11 June, during which they will hold a series of meetings with top US judicial representatives.
Minister of Justice Snezana Malovic and Serbian judicial officials are on a working visit to the United States from 7 to 11 June, during which they will hold a series of meetings with top US judicial representatives.
They will discuss cooperation in combating organised crime and corruption and judicial reforms.
On 7 June Malovic met with Assistant Director of the FBI Criminal Branch Henry Shown, while on 10 June she will talk with US Attorney General Eric Holder.
During her stay in the United States, Malovic will meet with other officials, including Acting Head of the International Organised Crime Directorate Gavin Corn, Director of the Witness Protection Office Paul O’Brian, Head of the Justice Department’s Organised Crime and Gang Section Bruce Ohr and Head of the Human Rights Office and Special Prosecution for War Crimes Eli Rosenbaum.
She will also meet with Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Thomas Countryman and Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs William Brownfield.
The Serbian delegation will also include President of the Cassation Court Nata Mesarovic, national public prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac, prosecutor for organised crime Miljko Radisavljevic and war crimes prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic.
