The Serbian government is expected to adopt laws on public property and denationalisation in September, Director of the government Office for European Integration Milica Delevic stated on Thursday.
During a news conference following the government sitting, Delevic underscored that the adoption of the two laws would round off the set of regulations on property rights in Serbia, lift a historic injustice and ensure investors' security.
Delevic underscored that the laws apply to the same domain and that it is necessary for them to be adjusted, which is why competent bodies need to work on them simultaneously.
According to the action plan relevant to fulfilment of priorities included in the annual report of the European Commission, the Serbian government was supposed to adopt these laws in June 2011.
