No suspects for Serb killing in Mitrovica
Regional spokesman for the Kosovo police Besim Hoti told Tanjug that six houses have been searched in the Kosovska Mitrovica neighborhood of Brdjani following Wednesday night's shooting which killed one and wounded two Serbs.
So far there are no suspects for the murder of Savo Mojsic and the attack on the other Serbs which took place around 8 pm Wednesday in northern Mitrovica.
During the night, the police took statements from three Albanians who are not suspected of the murder, but were questioned as witnesses. We are continuing the investigation, said the spokesman.
Doctors at the hospital in Kosovska Mitrovica said Thursday morning they were unable to save Mojsic due to the nature and severity of his injuries.
The other two Serbs, who have also been shot, are stable and their condition is not life-threatening. The same is true of a third individual who was injured in a fistfight, the doctors said.
