Serbian-Greek plan for military cooperation signed

Representatives said that the cooperation in the domain of defence between the two countries is well-developed, and the Greek side voiced readiness for joint participation in the EU operation Atlanta, in relation to which it prepared a draft technical agreement.
Representatives of the Serbian and Greek defence ministries signed in Belgrade a plan for the bilateral military cooperation in 2012 which comprises 12 activities.
The key areas of cooperation are: military education, joint training of special forces and air force cooperation. The regular bilateral consultations addressed the issues related to further improvement of relations.
The consultations identified the establishment of cooperation in the domain of military medicine and religious service in the armed forces as the domains in which the military cooperation can be further improved.
