Tadic in Portugal on March 26-27

 On March 26-27, Serbian President Boris Tadic will pay a visit to Portugal where he will meet with President Anibal Kavak Silva and accept the Council of Europe’s North-South award.

On March 26-27, Serbian President Boris Tadic will pay a visit to Portugal where he will meet with President Anibal Kavak Silva and accept the Council of Europe’s North-South award.

On March 27, Silva will hand over to the Serbian President the North-South award for 2011. Tadic will also meet with Prime minister Pedro Passos Coelho and Assembly Speaker Assunção Esteves, as well as with the whips in the Portuguese parliament.

Serbian President will talk with representatives of the Portuguese company Amorim and Vieira de Castro.

The North- South has been awarded since 1995 for contribution to human rights, development of intercultural dialogue and intensified solidarity between the North and the South.
