Serbian mathematicians ranked third at the Balkan Olympiad

The Serbian national team won the third place at the 29th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad held in the Turkish town of Antalya, and each Serbian representative won medal, the Mathematical Society of Serbia announced.

Fourth-grade students of the Mathematical High School in Belgrade - Teodor fon Burg, Igor Spasojevic and Dusan Sobot won gold medals, and their colleague from the same school won silver.
Second-grade student of the Mathematical High School Ivan Tanasijevic and first-grade student of Bora Stankovic High School in Nis won bronze medals.
In the competition of 11 national teams and 11 guest teams, Turkey ranked first, Romania – second. Bulgaria holds the fourth position.
