At 8 PM, on Sunday, May 6, 8,390 polling places closed in Serbia where 6.770.013 citizens were able to exercise the right to vote for the future president of the country, members of the national and municipal assemblies.

Citizens of Vojvodina were also electing members of the provincial parliament.
By 7 PM, according to the Centre for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID), 53.6% of voters cast their ballots for any one of 18 electoral tickets competing for seats in the Serbian Assembly and 12 candidates running for the position of the head of the state.
The closing of the polls also ended election silence that started at midnight on May 4.
