Prime minister stated on Monday in a show on Bulgarian National Television BTV morning programme, that the persons who intended to assassin him are being wanted based on a red Interpol arrest warrant. However, he refused to share more details.
Bulgarian prime minister confirmed that his security services intercepted telephone calls on his physical liquidation last week and estimated that EUR 40,000 is insufficient amount for his assassination. According to him, people who make plans of that sort, have personal motives, their personal financial interests are affected, he went on saying, where literally EUR billions are at stake.
Five serious signal for Prime Minister Boiko Borissov’s assassination are currently being checked in Bulgaria. Bulgarian services intercepted telephone conversations of “three significant persons” which were offering EUR 400,000 for Prime Minister Borissov’s assassination.
Sofia-based daily “Standard” wrote it became known that the ordered the murder, known in underground, spoke with his gang about preparation for assassination of Borissov.
