A group of 24 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, students from the University of Philosophy in Sarajevo, who were at Egypt, were last night taken by plane to Istanbul via Cairo.

The transportation of BiH students, who arrived in Istanbul this morning, was organized by the Embassy of Bosnia and Turkey in Cairo, in accordance with an agreement between Ministers of Foreign Affairs.

Four students traveled to Sarajevo with the morning flight from Istanbul, however there are currently 20 students still in Istanbul. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent instructions to the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Istanbul in order to ensure all necessary support and protection of students.

The Consulate General is in constant contact with students who are expected to return to BiH tomorrow.
