President Papoulias to make two-day official visit to Romania

President Papoulias will be meeting during his visit with the country's state, political and ecclesiastical leadership, while he will be inaugurating the sessions of the Greek-Romanian Business Forum.
President of the Hellenic Republic Karolos Papoulias will be making an official two-day visit to Bucharest as of Tuesday.
President Papoulias will be meeting during his visit with the country's state, political and ecclesiastical leadership, while he will be inaugurating the sessions of the Greek-Romanian Business Forum.
According to the programme, President Papoulias will meet Romanian President Traian Basescu, Prime Minister Emil Boc, Parliament President Roberta Anastase, Senate President Mircea Geoana and the leader of the main opposition party Victor Ponta.
He will go to the Patriarchal Mansion where he will be meeting Patriarch Daniel, while he will also be having meetings with Greek expatriate representatives. In addition, he will visit the Romanian Academy, attend the ceremony on the unveiling of a bust of Eleftherios Venizelos and will give an award to Hellenist Elena Lazar.
A cooperation memorandum in the agricultural sector will be signed between the two countries.
President Papoulias will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Stavros Lambrinidis and Economic Cooperation Secretary General Constantine Papadopoulos.
