The School for Young Leaders offers expertise and team work, opening a new page in this sphere, as the state and business community are partners, which by joining their efforts, create true value, President Gjorge Ivanov said Monday in his opening address at the event.

The School for Young Leaders offers expertise and team work, opening a new page in this sphere, as the state and business community are partners, which by joining their efforts, create true value, President Gjorge Ivanov said Monday in his opening address at the event.

"This training is a product of the new communal spirit. of shared societal responsibility for the young leaders. You shall agree that investments in them have been both poor and rare this far. Often the young leaders have been left alone to find their way. The School for Young Leaders opens a new page. The state and business community are partners, which by joining their efforts, create true value. Hence the overall financial support of the school is granted by the business partners," said Ivanov, who is the school's initiator and patron.

The goal is to bring together the creative potential of Macedonia, the President said.

"You already are, and gradually will be come more involved in decsion-making on and creating of the Macedonian society. We are counting on you and I as a President will dp my best to help you to acqure additional knowledge, skill that will prepare you for your future challenges," Ivanov said.

The scholl, he said, is a small contribution to the state's investing in its leaders.

Quoting John F. Kennedy, Ivanov expressed belief that the young leaders would be willing to contribute to the prosperity of their country.

The 2. School of Young Leaders brings together about 40 young people with accomplished higher education who wish, through their leadership skills, to contribute to the positive development of the society and the environment in which they live and work. The program includes leadership and management lectures by prominent domestic, foreign lecturers and guests management simulations and practical exercises. Teaching languages are Macedonian and English.

Theschool is being supported by Macedonia's private bussines sector and the Konrad Adenauer, Friedrich Ebert Foundations.
