Promotional flight from Ladjevci airport in October

Sutanovac visited the works at the airport, where the first stage of construction is being carried out, while next year the second stage will begin and the airport will be a modern one, ready for international flights.

Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac said yesterday in Kraljevo that civil airport Morava, which is being built on one part of Ladjevci Airport, will be ready for a promotional flight in October, while regular traffic will be established next spring.

Sutanovac visited the works at the airport, where the first stage of construction is being carried out, while next year the second stage will begin and the airport will be a modern one, ready for international flights.

He said the investment totals €32 million and that Turkey, being a partner to Serbia in this matter, will invest €10 million.

The Serbian Ministry of Defence will invest €12 million over a period of two years, the Air Traffic Services Agency of Serbia and Montenegro will set aside €3.5 million, other ministries €2 million and Belgrade Airport another €2 million through equipment and services, Sutanovac specified.

He said that Ladjevci Airport is the largest infrastructure project carried out by the Ministry of Defence in the last several decades.
