Mammography equipment delivered to Nis health centre

The Nis health centre was presented today with mammography equipment donated by the government of Japan within the project “Improvement of Screening and Breast Cancer Prevention in Serbia.”

The Nis health centre was presented today with mammography equipment donated by the government of Japan within the project “Improvement of Screening and Breast Cancer Prevention in Serbia.”

The ceremony was attended by State Secretary of Health Perisa Simonovic, Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Toshio Tsunozaki, Head of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the Balkans Satoru Kurosawa and Nis Mayor Milos Simonovic.

The donation to the Nis health centre amounts to around €70.000. The total value of the project is €5.8 million.
