Art director of Memory Module Nihad Kresevljakovic and reporter of Le Monda Remy Ourdan presented SARAJEVO 2012 Program today, which will be held from April 2 to 8 in Sarajevo on the occasion of marking of 20th anniversary of war in BiH.

Art director of Memory Module Nihad Kresevljakovic and reporter of Le Monda Remy Ourdan presented SARAJEVO 2012 Program today, which will be held from April 2 to 8 in Sarajevo on the occasion of marking of 20th anniversary of war in BiH.

Main conference will be organized on April 6, when foreign press will gather in the capital city of BiH and photo reporters who reported from Sarajevo during the war.

''Idea to meet again after twenty years in Sarajevo came two years ago, and we have been working on it since September last year. At the Photo festival at the time we decided to make a book with photographs taken by 45 photographers. That is not only a book about Sarajevo but entire BiH that my colleagues Gary Knight and Jon Jones are working on as well. It will be printed in few thousand copies, which will be available by the end of the year. It is our gift to BiH'', Remy Ourdan said, who started reporting from sieged Sarajevo when he was 23.

During realization of the book, Ourdan talked to Mayor of City of Sarajevo Alija Behmen and his friends in Sarajevo.

''I also thought it is completely legitimate that I work with Nihad Kresevljakovic considering that he has been working on preservation of memories of the war in the last 15 years. I am happy International Theater Festival MESS – Memory Module organized this conference'', Ourdan emphasized.

Being that most foreign reporters are coming to Sarajevo on their own initiative, i.e. on their own expense, names of all reporters is not known or the exact number of reporters that will attend the conference.

''In the last few days some names were mentioned in the media, which is actually not true. That is why I do not want to speculate. It is interesting that reporters that did not cover the war in BiH will come as well, to see Sarajevo through this conference'', Ourdan said.

Foreign reporters who will present their work in SARAJEVO 2012 Program are Ed Vulliamy, who will promote his book ''The War is Dead, Long Live the War“ and Richard Parry, who will attend screening of his film ''Shooting Robert King“.
