Macedonia to get what it deserves - NATO membership invitation and a date for start of accession talks with the EU and the judgement of the International Court of Justice to be taken into consideration, which clearly points out that Greece has breached the international law by blocking Macedonia's integration to the Alliance.

This is the basic request expressed by Macedonian top officials at numerous meetings organised on the eve of the NATO summit in Chicago later this month.

As of October 2011, Macedonian state officials have practically travelled round the world and took advantage of every possible event, contact, dozens of meetings with representatives of NATO member states, including the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany as well as neighbouring countries, in an attempt to emphasise that Macedonia is unjustly kept out of NATO. Macedonia's state representatives have presented the legal arguments, upheld with the verdict of the Hague court, asking to be aboded by consistently.

Macedonia has used all of the mechanisms to prove that the country should be finally admitted where it belongs, in NATO as a full-fledged member.

President Gjorge Ivanov, PM Nikola Gruevski, foreign and defense ministers - Nikola Poposki and Fatmir Besimi, diplomatic offices, members of the Macedonian Army, have had a busy agenda involving a number of foreign visits and talks with heads of state and government, ministers, international officials, lobbyists...

The intensive diplomatic activity will not stop here, it continues prior to and after the Chicago summit, their cabinets have announced.

President Ivanov, PM Gruevski, Deputy Premier Teuta Arifi and ministers Poposki and Besimi have held talks over the past several months with influential officials from the United States, Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, Spain, Slovakia, Portugal, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark, France, Netherlands...

In April, as a result of Macedonia's lobbying efforts, 54 U.S. congressmen sent a letter to President Barack Obama urging his administration "to make sure that NATO finally offers the Republic of Macedonia its well-deserved formal invitation to join the Alliance during the Chicago Summit."

In a bid to unblock the integration process and to put an end to Greece's irrational objection to Macedonia's accession, Gruevski in Brussels has met with Greece's interim prime minister, Lucas Papadimos. FM Poposki has also met with his Greek counterpart Stavros Dimas, but to no avail. In a effort to boost the bilateral defense cooperation, DM Besimi met with the Greek counterpart Dimitris Avramopoulos. Teuta Arifi also held talks with Greek Vice PM Theodoros Pangalos.

Despite announcements that the Chicago event will not focus on the enlargement process i.e it is to primarily focus on Afghanistan, the 'smart defence' concept and relations with NATO partners, Macedonia's diplomacy has invested a lot to present its demand to join NATO as a full-fledged member. The intense diplomatic activity is aimed at overcoming Greece's objection to Macedonia's membership ahead of the NATO summit in May, also requesting the ICJ judgement in favour of Macedonia to be taken into consideration.

The patronizing ICJ trolls can go make love to a mirror for dishonestly pretending not to notice FYROM's attempts to usurp our identity and threats to our country. They disgraced themselves by pretending not to notice.

FYROM is getting exactly what it deserves. No Nato member for a country hostile to Nato member Greece. If FYROM ultra nationalist stop trying to thieve our history and manipulatively use it to insinuate our homeland is occupied.. then Greece will warmly accept FYROM. Harass us with your historical gibberish that hides FYROM's Bulgarians past, and all it does is create instability for FYROM, Greece and the Balkans. Artifacts are not going to change from Greek into Bulgarian dialect the communists renamed "Macedonian" any time soon.

Why would Macedonia want to take over a bankrupt land which is governed by anarchy? Everyone knows that regions have common history and denying that to a region just because their border is separating one from another is just not right and it is not possible. Borders are just recent invention.

Regions have history? Land has history? Correction - it is the people on any given piece of land that make the history. The region of Macedonia has traditionally always been considered greek - and it was greek people who made that history - not the other way around.
