Due to a malfunction on Serbian government aircraft Falcon, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mirko Cvetkovic did not travel to Brussels where he was supposed to attend a meeting of EU ministers of economy and finance
with those from accessing and candidate states.

Having acquired candidate status, Serbia has now been asked to attend this important EU meeting for the first time.
