Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo Ambassador Werner Almhofer expressed concern on Thursday over recent attacks in the Kosovo north during which property of local residents was damaged.
Almhofer assessed as particularly alarming the fact that a civilian society representative was among the targets of the attack.
In his release, the OSCE mission head said that the perpetrators should be brought to justice, and that such attacks only contribute to disrupting peace and reconciliation in the already sensitive region.
Two civilian vehicles, owned by Serbs, were burned and one was damaged in two separate incidents in the town of Zvecan and the city of Kosovska Mitrovica in northern Kosovo on Wednesday.
