Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac stated that within the framework of cooperation with NATO Partnership for Peace Program, the Codification Agreement was signed that will enable the Serbian defense industry to present its products better.

At the Military Academy, where he gave a lecture to a class of the School of National Defense, Sutanovac said that the Agreement allows for products of the domestic defense industry to be presented in world catalogues.

He also expressed expectation that the security agreement will be signed with the EU by the end of the year, which will enable participation of the Serbian Army and Police in the EU peace missions.

There has been discussions about Serbia’s symbolic presence in an anti-piracy mission off the coast of Somalia which would be the first EU mission in which the Serbian Army members will participate, said Sutanovac.
