If these irregularities are proved, then the whole election process can be disputed. Hashim Thaçi celebrated the victory of PDK on Sunday evening, but other political parties and the coalition of NGO’s Democracy in Action have informed of serious violations and irregularities in polling stations in Skenderaj and in Drenas, which could lead to a general dispute of the elections process.

“Manipulation and irregularities have damaged the election process”, emphasized Ismet Kryeziu of Democracy in Action, in the early morning hours of Monday while talking about the irregularities which have been identified, according to him, in Skenderaj and Drenas.

“In Skenderaj and Drenas there was manipulation of the free vote”, emphasized Kryeziu. Also other parties have expressed their doubts about the election process in those two municipalities. Meanwhile, those who should have been out on front of the elections process, CEC, decided to remain silent, while not informing the public of preliminary results or of the eventual irregularities.
