Croatia: National Security Council convenes in President's Office

Adopted at the session was a draft national security strategy that will be put up for a public debate which will last 30 days. After the debate, the government will organise a round-table discussion on the draft strategy before sending the document to parliament, the President's Office said in a statement.
A session of the National Security Council was held in the President's Office on Tuesday.
The session was chaired by President Ivo Josipovic and Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor.

After the debate, the government will organise a round-table discussion on the draft strategy before sending the document to parliament, the President's Office said in a statement.
Also adopted were annual guidelines for the work of security and intelligence agencies in 2011. The council adopted a report on the activities of the State Attorney's Office, the Interior Ministry and security and intelligence agencies in the fight against organised crime and corruption, the statement said.
