Serbia's top export partner in the first 11 months of 2010 was Italy, to which the country exported goods worth USD 1.02 billion, while the top import partner was the Russian Federation with USD 1.94 billion, show the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Italy is followed by Bosnia-Herzegovina, which imported goods worth USD 991.5 million, and Germany with its USD 928 million.

The country's biggest import partner, besides Russia, was Germany which sold goods worth USD 1.6 billion on the Serbian market. The third main partner was Italy with USD 1.29 billion of imports.

In the first 11 months of the past year, a major boost in trade was registered with the countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements.

Over that period, the EU member states constituted more than a half of the country's overall trade, while the CEFTA countries, with which Serbia produced a surplus of USD 1.24 billion mostly thanks to the export of agricultural products, hold the second position.
