Chinese army has staged its first test-flight of a stealth fighter jet, that that is meant to smooth over rocky relations between the American military and China’s increasingly assertive armed forces, Reuters agency reported.

The news was, among others, pubished on Global Times website, popular Chinese newspaper owned by People’s Daily, the ruling Communist Party's main paper.

It stated that J-20 first flight successful, adding a link to what it said were pictures of the flight.
