The dinar has slightly weakened against the euro, by 2 paras, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 104.5769 per euro, the National Bank of Serbia released.

In 2011, the Serbian currency was the strongest on January 19 (104.2150), and the weakest on January 6 (106.4947).

The central bank did not intervene at the interbank foreign exchange market yesterday, and since the beginning of the year it bought EUR 5 million so as to ease the excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate.
