Final consultations underway, dialogue in next few weeks

The final round of consultations are underway and we expect the dialogue to start after the consultations are over, which could happen in the next few weeks, Tanjug learnt from Maja Kocijancic, spokesperson of High EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton.
The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue could start in the next few weeks, as soon as consultations led by the European Union (EU) end, Tanjug learnt from the EU.
The final round of consultations are underway and we expect the dialogue to start after the consultations are over, which could happen in the next few weeks, Tanjug learnt from Maja Kocijancic, spokesperson of High EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton.
According to her, the dialogue is aimed at promoting cooperation, facilitating progress on the EU path and improving the quality of people's lives.
There are several fields in which cooperation needs to be established, including cadastres, air traffic and licence plates, Kocijancic said.
She also said that the EU expects the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue to be a process in which the two sides would work on solving specific issues on a step-by-step basis and in a mutually agreed manner.
