According to a decision of the Belgrade city authorities, 120,000 primary school students will get free textbooks as of next year.

The Belgrade pupils will be given sets of textbooks, which they will be due to return after completing a school year so that the books could be used by the next generation, the Belgrade-based TV Studio B reported.

This action is not only aimed at helping parents who are in difficult financial situation, but also at investing in the future of Belgrade, the city authorities said.
