The opening of the Vojvodina office in the building of the Mission of Serbia to the EU in Brussels on October 10, is expected to be attended by several hundred guests from the European institutions and the region.

The delegation of the province, headed by Vojvodina Premier Bojan Pajtic, will present the most significant priorities for the future, Vojvodina Deputy Premier and Secretary for Inter-Regional Cooperation and Local Government Tomislav Stantic said Tuesday at a press conference.

He added that the office will be headed by Director of European Affairs Fund Predrag Novikov.

Stantic pointed out that the Vojvodina office, in coordination with the Serbian diplomats in Brussels, will be able to achieve better results in using various EU funds. When Serbia becomes a candidate for membership in the EU, the activities of the Vojvodina office in Brussels would certainly be an additional benefit, Stantic said.
