The state secretary in the Serbian Ministry for Kosmet, Oliver Ivanović, said that KFOR intervention at Jarinje was wrong and would not prevent Serbs from Northern Kosmet from forming a new, alternative road towards central Serbia.

The state secretary in the Serbian Ministry for Kosmet, Oliver Ivanović, said that KFOR intervention at Jarinje was wrong and would not prevent Serbs from Northern Kosmet from forming a new, alternative road towards central Serbia.

He said that the intervention, in which KFOR soldiers broke through the barricade at the Jarinje administrative line and placed barbed wire to block the alternative road toward Rudnica was just raising tensions.

The Belgrade-Pristina talks should be let to lead to a solution and the situation should be previously restored to that before July 25, said Ivanović.
